"INTERMITTENT FASTING"
Everyone
wants to look good, get in shape and wants to get in that suit or dress that
they have always wanted to wear. But for some of us its not possible as we
carry some good amount of fat which restricts us to wear our good looking
cloths. So, how can we fix this issue? Should we stop eating? Should we starve?
Should we follow water diet? These questions arrive in our mind when we want to
lose fat from our body, so let's go and understand what many has already
followed and also showed results called "INTERMITTENT
FASTING".
INTERMITTENT FASTING MEANING:
Hello my wonderful audience out
there, Hope everyone's good and staying fit and healthy. Today we gonna talk
about a very trending and interesting topic called INTERMITTENT FASTING. So
what really is INTERMITTENT FASTING? In a very simple and easy language, its an
eating pattern where we fast for a good amount of time and eat in a less time
window. And this allows us to remain in a CALORIE DEFICIT state where in we
consume less calories and obviously due to less calorie intake, we shed that
stubborn body fat and weight. Many studies have shown INTERMITTENT FASTING to
be very helpful and effective to lose body weight and fat and may even
helps us to live longer.
INTERMITTENT FASTING METHODS:
INTERMITTENT FASTING doesn't specify what to eat but rather "WHEN" you should eat. So, this is the reason I don't call it a diet but a more specific eating pattern. The most common method of Intermittent Fasting that people use is 16:8. Now lets understand what exactly is 16:8 pattern. This means out of the total 24hours, one has to fast for complete 16hours and eat only in the 8hours window. Now this may seems to be difficult to most of us, but believe me guys, this is very helpful and once your body adapts to this eating pattern, nothing will be hard and you can easily rely on this. And we have already seen fasting has been followed since ancient times and is done for spiritual or religious reasons.

Now this doesn't mean that in the 8hours of eating window you can consume anything that you want. As diet plays a crucial role in weight and fat loss, always make sure that you are consuming healthy and clean diet. Avoid junk foods and soda. Eat more protein and rich fibre food. Always focus on home made meals cooked in less oil. Add more veggies and fruits in your diet. Drink as much water as you can as it will also help to suppress hunger. Also try to eliminate sugar from your diet and replace it with honey. By staying in CALORIE DEFICIT(eating less calories than required), you can achieve your weight loss goals.And in the fasting period, you can openly consume tea, coffee or water with less milk and sugar as it will have less calories and helps to suppress hunger and creates a sense of fullness.
INTERMITTENT FASTING RESULTS
By following Intermittent fasting, you are automatically consuming less calories and burning more which helps to lose weight and burn fat quickly as it will also increase your metabolic rate. Also make sure that you exercise atleast 3times a week and it can be anything like weight lifting, running, walking, swimming, skipping etc as exercise will help to burn more and more calories.According to some studies, intermittent fasting has proven to reduce belly fat around your waist and you can happily wear your favourite cloths.However an important point to be kept in mind is that the success of intermittent fasting depends only if you are eating healthy food and lesser calories. If you still eat massive amount of food during the eating window, you'll not be able to lose fat and all the efforts will go to bin.
INTERMITTENT FASTING IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. Let me explain why I am telling this. If you are underweight, have any form of medical or eating disorders or if you are pregnant, then you must first consult a doctor before following intermittent fasting or else it might prove to be harmful.
In my opinion, you should start with 16:8 method, and then move on to longer fasting periods only if your body allows to do that. Always keep on experimenting with your diet and exercises and see what proves to be useful.

But do not make your body Starve. Always eat good, clean and healthy food. And always remember, "YOU BECOME WHAT YOU EAT. MAKE YOUR BODY PROUD".
